I bought this DASH brand mini waffle while last month on Amazon. So far, it’s been great to serve me as a breakfast maker. I mainly use it to make waffles and pancakes with Complements’ Waffle and Pancake Mix. Forgive me that I am not a good man to make batter myself. But, this machine is super easy to use. So,  I hope I could write down all the pros and cons about it to help you make your own choice when considering to get a mini waffle maker.

Perfect for small spaces like first apartments, dorm rooms, or even on-the-go in your camper, its 4″ nonstick surface is a kitchen game-changer. Just plug it in, and it’s ready to roll in minutes. The dual non-stick surfaces ensure your waffles come out golden and delicious every time, and the best part? Cleanup is a breeze.

Pros:

• Super easy to use. All you need to do is pour the batter into it and wait for 5 minutes, and you’re all set!
• Light weight. It super light, and you can hold it with one hand without using much effort.
• The non-stick layer of the machine is well-made. After using many times, it still looks brand new. The key of protecting it is just add a bit of oil or oil spray before cooking.
• Cost-effective. This machine isn’t expensive compared to other devices that have advanced functions.
• Versatile: Beyond traditional waffles, it’s ideal for making various recipes like hash browns, cookies, and biscuit pizzas.
• Travel-Friendly: Its small size makes it easy to take with you, catering to healthy eating even when you’re on the move.

Cons:

As it is a mini machine. You have to cook waffles one by one. So, it is not an ideal machine for a large family  but would be a perfect fit for one or a couple. According to my own experience, to make one tasty waffle, you will need to wait at least 4 minutes. So, be well prepared when you are trying to make many waffles at one time.

No Temperature Adjustment: The absence of a temperature control feature might be limiting for those who want to customize their waffles’ crispiness.

There’s a light on the lid that can let you know when the pre-heating is done. To be honest, this is the first waffle I made but it’s not bad! I like that I can easily control the lid so that I can make the exact kind of waffle texture I want.
